Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 arrives on October 23, 2026, and its DMZ return looks like more than a simple comeback. The action moves to Hajin, a wide exclusion zone in South Korea where every run can change quickly. You might enter for a story task, spot useful gear, then hear another squad nearby and rethink the whole plan. For players who want a steadier place to learn the map, MW4 Bot Lobbies may also be worth considering before jumping into the harsher parts of the mode.

A Map Built Around Movement

Hajin should reward players who look up as often as they look ahead. Drain pipe mantling lets operators climb the outside of buildings and reach nearby roofs without relying on obvious stairwells. That changes the rhythm of a firefight. A team pinned in a street can slip upward, watch the next block, and choose a cleaner route. You will quickly notice that familiar buildings feel different once those extra routes become part of your options. Rooftops are not just hiding places either; they can become short-term observation posts, escape points, or risky firing positions.

Why the KG-7 Vulcan Matters

The KG-7 Vulcan fits that rooftop style, though it is not a magic answer to every problem. Its bolt-action design rewards patience. Take a shot, move, and avoid giving another squad a simple line back to your position. From higher ground, the rifle can cover a crossing or support teammates moving between buildings. Still, a long sightline is only useful when the rest of the squad knows what it is watching. One player should call movement while the others keep an eye on nearby entrances and possible flanks.

Loot With a Plan

Looting in DMZ has a stronger connection to the world this time. Hospitals are sensible places to search for medical supplies, while police stations may hold tactical equipment. That small detail makes route planning feel less random. Materials brought back to the Forward Operating Base can feed an upgradeable 3D printer, giving teams a reason to keep exploring instead of leaving at the first safe chance.

Check nearby buildings before crossing open ground.
Keep one escape route in mind during every search.
Share useful materials instead of filling one player's pack.
Watch for armour and heavy vehicles near major roads.

Pressure From Every Direction

The danger in Hajin will not come only from rival squads. Tanks and armoured personnel carriers can turn a comfortable supply run into a scramble for cover. Rivers, forests, train tracks, and open fields each demand a different approach, so rushing rarely pays off. Good teams will move with a purpose, leave room for a retreat, and listen for signs that someone else is nearby. Players wanting a quieter way to practise positioning can use CoD Modern Warfare 4 Bot Lobbies before testing those habits in a live DMZ run.
