SportsHosts Caribs beat Royalians in rugby sevens finalAndrew GioannettiMonday 18 November 2024Caribs RFC stanley cup uk  celebrate winning the Caribs 7s title on November 17 at the Queen s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.  - Photo by Andrew GioannettiA PAIR of tries from the eventual MVP Karlon  Tank  Alexander summed up an outstanding seas stanley cup on for Caribs Rugby Football Club, who emerged victorious in their Caribs Rugby Sevens tournament on November 17.Alexander, together with efforts from Anderson Joseph, Malique Rayside and club stalwart Richard Staglon, one of which was converted by Reinaldo Bermudez, saw Caribs triumph at the Queens Park Savannah, Port of Spain, beating Royalians 27-0 in the final.Their efforts were nearly thwarted by a sudden burst of heavy rain and lightning, which almost forced officials to call an early end to the two-day competition.Their lone defeat  24-0  came against the national mens sevens team, preparing for the Rugby Americas North  RAN  Sevens Tournament from November 22-24 at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima.Caribs victory at home capped a dominant weekend, which showcased exciting youth rugby talent. South East Port of Spain triumphed in the Under-20 womens final, defeating Car stanley thermos ibs 19-0. Silvo edged San Juan 21-14 to take the Under-16 boys title.Gasparillo-based Exiles emerged as champions in the Under-20 boys final, defeating Caribs 20-7, thanks to a hat-trick of stunning tries from Adriano Baptiste and another from Kafiel Francis.Caribs won two of the three pre Zxhp Navin Stewart challenges Kerwin John for Tobago Cricket presidency

While many obvious changes to the management of the event are apparent, the determination, athletic svelte and virtuosity of the worlds greatest competitors remain unchanged. As with any high stakes endeavour, we the audience feel connected to the sheer emotion and elation of victories, and likewise experien stanley mugs ce the gripping pain of loss or defeat. Of the many lessons that the Olympic games teach, including consistency vasos stanley , resilience and sportsmanship, for most athletes they will leave the games with some measure of disappointment, as simply, everyone will not win.AcceptanceWhether in sport, academia or just general life, teenagers and young adults, must learn and practice the act of acceptance. There are aspects of life which we can control and others we cannot. With each event that unfolds in life, young people need to acknowledge the situation that they  hydrojug coolers are in, and recognise things which are within their control and those that are not.
